This activity includes process engineering, process simulations, undertaking basic engineering of existing and revamp units, operating instructions start-up procedures etc. The branch also has a capabilities and skills to carry out Hazop’s, SIL reviews and undertake chartered engineer approvals from administrative authorities like OISD.

 

 

CATALYSTS Loading and Unloading services

The catalyst handling and loading business includes loading of catalyst in reactors under inert and ambient conditions, dense loading, sock loading, catalyst loading supervision, reactor internals inspection.

 

 

GHG Emissions Consultancy

USPT&M Energy Division will also undertake studies and consultancy assignments for GHG abatement studies, surveys etc.

 

 

Patents National (Indian) phase filing

USPT&M Energy Division will undertake filing of applications in the correct format. It will require follow-up for publication and examination of patent application. If there is any opposition to grant of patent, USPT&M can represent the case before the examiner.

 

 

Technical Training

USPT&M Energy Division will represent French Institutes of higher education and training in India with a view to promote technical excellence and advanced capabilities in the hydrocarbon industry. It will also promote collaboration between Indian and French academic institutions facilitate scholarships for Indian students desirous of studying in France and arrange/help French students to find suitable placement in Indian companies.

USPT&M Energy Division will facilitate recruitment of highly trained and skilled manpower on an international basis. The migration of skilled and trained manpower across international borders is a becoming more acceptable as the demand and supply equations change between the developed and developing countries. The surge in demand in Asia has lead to companies in this region hiring on an international platform.
